“HOMEFRONT” REFERS TO THE VITAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF CIVILIANS IN A NATION AT WAR
During World War II, homeland production became even more invaluable to both the Allied and Axis powers. Life on the homefront was a significant part of the war effort for all participants and had a major impact on the outcome of the war. Believers in this age are engaged in a war but we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
FAI IS FORTIFYING OUR COALITION OF
PARTNERS, AMBASSADORS, AND PRAYER ADVOCATES
These key workers are stationed on the homefront and provide vital support to pioneers and laborers serving on the field. If the Lord has ignited your heart to join with FAI but He has not yet called you to go, there is crucial work that needs to be done right where you are.
FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT IN PRAYER
"Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.”
CARRY THE MESSAGE. SERVE THE CHURCH ON THE HOMEFRONT.
And I heard the voice of the LORD saying,
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
GOD GIVEN DESIRE. GOD GIVEN MEANS. RESOURCE THE HOMEFRONT.
“The number one priority is for more mission mobilizers. Why do I say this? Because I believe there must be at least 40,000 younger adults who have in the past few years made a missionary decision, but who will never make it to the field – due to ignorance, indifference, school debts, etc… Anyone who can help 100 missionaries to the field is more important than one missionary on the field. In fact, mission mobilization activity is more crucial than field missionary activity.”
